Finding ethical maternity clothing can be a little bit of a challenge. You can buy second hand or organic, but if you want to support handmade artisans and add a few super cute pieces to that maternity wardrobe, handmade maternity clothes are the way to go! Fall might be right around the corner, but around here mosquito season feels like it has no end in sight. Thanks to an unnaturally warm winter, the bugs have been out of control this year! I can’t take the dog out back to play without getting covered in bites. Blech! That’s why I was thrilled to run across this all natural mosquito repellent from Eco Etsian Aquarian Bath.

When you’re getting ready to head to the beach, it’s easy to hit the big box store for essentials like your beach bag and towel, but those purchases tend to come with a hefty carbon and social footprint. Chances are that cute beach gear was produced in a sweatshop using conventional cotton and petroleum products, then shipped all over the world. Boo on that! Luckily, you can find handmade and vintage beach gear that’s just as cute with way less guilt.
