When you’re getting ready to head to the beach, it’s easy to hit the big box store for essentials like your beach bag and towel, but those purchases tend to come with a hefty carbon and social footprint. Chances are that cute beach gear was produced in a sweatshop using conventional cotton and petroleum products, then shipped all over the world. Boo on that! Luckily, you can find handmade and vintage beach gear that’s just as cute with way less guilt.
