Spotted: Knit Graffiti in Atlanta, GA
Are you guys familiar with the growing knit graffiti trend? I just ran across a beautiful example right here in Atlanta!
Bed-Stuy Guys Volunteer for Walkability
We know that walking is one of the greenest ways to get from point A to point B, but if folks don’t feel safe in their neighborhoods, it’s much harder to encourage them to ditch their cars and walk.
In one New York neighborhood that’s experiencing a crime wave, citizens are taking matters into their own hands.
Spotted: Indoor Moss Decor
From moss graffiti to moss lawns, we love a good mossy project around here, and I was really struck by the simple beauty of the moss pieces at the St. Regis. Since moss only needs indirect sunlight and occasional misting with water to thrive, it would work really well for indoor decor in any reasonably sunny room. What a great way to add a little greenery without requiring a lot of work or water!
Spotted: Pallet Aridondack Chair
We’ve gushed about Shelton Davis’ Repurposed Pallet Adirondack Chair around here before. This weekend at the Indie Craft Experience here in Atlanta, I ran across the designer himself at his very first craft market! He had demo chairs set up, DIY kits for sale, and a brand new product to debut.
