Treehumper takes a look at the White House's new farmers market in "I’m not sayin Obama’s a Nazi, just that his Commie vegetables are going to kill your grandma."

This cartoon from Eco-Chick shows how global warming and the melting ice caps are weighing on this Polar Bear couple's relationship.

I'm no Dr. Phil but I suspect that "climate change" is just an excuse for some underlying communication problems

"Styles by Stiles" is Julia Styles's new satirical eco-friendly clothing line that boasts some green garbs name after some of her movies like "10 Shirts I Love About You." In this example of creative reuse Julia took 10 vintage shirts and made 1 new cool shirt. While the move was considered a huge win by Greenpeace, now PETA is getting bent out of shape. Sunday Funnies: Bizarre Respect Nature Video

This video is the most bizarre way to say "respect nature" and "live and let live."

Personally I hate bugs, they creep me out. I realize this isn't rational and I respect nature so I generally suck it up and live with them. When it comes to particularly offensive looking spiders and wasps (I hate those the most) in my house I usually capture them and let them go outside. They probably come right back inside but at least I'm trying.

Now after watching this video, insects don't seem so bad. I wasn't swayed by the man with the long nipples reasoning, instead I this video put things in perspective because it is far creepier than any bug I've seen!

Sunday Funnies: The Empire Goes Green?

"...chipmunks don't explode when they hit a tree..."

In a move to clean up their image around the galaxy the Empire has replaced their fleet of Speeder Bikes with giant chipmunks. Citing the lower carbon emissions and the fact that chipmunks don't explode when they hit a tree, the Empire insists they are doing their part to protect the fragile environment of Endor. Critics have dismissed this as an empty gesture citing the Empire's practice of blowing up planets and the continued use of the enormous AT-AT Walkers which one study shows release more toxic gasses into the atmosphere than Jabba the Hutt.

The commander of the 409th Storm Trooper Legion has bumped heads with the Empire Central Command over the change, publicly stating that "Going green is great and all, but conditions on the ground have deteriorated. Since the change my men spend more time sniffing nuts, than fighting Endorian insurgents."

When asked by reporters if this change constitutes greenwashing the Emperor was quoted as saying, "Why you gotta be like that?"
