Matt Embrey

Matt is always striving to make a difference. He's been involved in public service since he was a teen, and his love for the outdoors goes even further back, but he hasn't always been Green. "...not too long ago I was hanging out with my 5 year old niece and I asked her what she wanted to do for the day. She said she wanted to go down to the park and pick up litter because it was making mother nature sad. I always talk to her about the importance of being kind to mother nature but I realized that besides not littering, I did very little, partly because I felt overwhelmed by weight of 'Going Green'. The simplicity in her approach made me realize that 'Going Green' starts with action, and inspired me to start my journey to a more sustainable life."
