I would love to try this, but I have had to use medicated shampoo because of Dermatitis. Are there any natural solutions to special needs like this?

      Good question, Elise!

My scalp gets very dry in winter and sometimes a little itchy, but nothing severe. Since changing my wash mixture to 1 part baking soda, 1 part brown sugar, 1 part honey, 1 part water, my hair and scalp have been great! That said, I would hate to steer you in the wrong direction…you’d definitely want to run any changes in your hair care routine past your doctor.

Thanks for the info. As a “curly girl” I gave up shampoo completely about 5 years ago & after a period of pestering my family with “smell my hair – does it smell bad?” LOL!! I haven’t looked back since!! I do still condition with a tea tree oil based conditioner though… I will have to give the honey & brown sugar thing a whirl – Thanks again!!
