This week's #ecomonday picks from Olivia Zaleski, Karl Burkhart are two I can really get behind. First Olivia recommends Michael Graham Richard, a guy who's been blogging about green issues since 2005. Karl recommends our very own contributer Derek Markham and I added another great green blogger, Sean Daily...
From Olivia:
@Michael_GR
I'm a big fan of Michael Graham Richard's feed, @Michael_GR. Michael is the Science & Technology and Cars & Transportation Editor for Treehugger.com, but comments on a range of random topics of which peak his unbridled curiosity. Examples include: stem-cell research, meteor shower updates, WWI Veteran treatment and hip-hop. Although Michael doesn't tweet as much as I'd like, he does use his 140 characters wisely--keeping me up-to-date on the latest in green tech, especially electric vehicles.
From Karl:
@DerekMarkham
Of all the many fantastic green tweeters out there (net yet covered on greenupgrader) I would have to single out @derekmarkham as one of my favs. He is prolific (40+ per day) but his tweet quality never wavers. Derek somehow manages to curate the most interesting variety of links and RT's - from fun (and useful) stuff like "How to poop in the woods" to heavier subjects like the corporate sellout of Greenpeace and the Sierra Club.
From Matt:
@SeanDaily
My suggestion this week, Sean Daily, is a true renaissance man. Besides being a passionate environmentalist he's an entrepreneur, podcaster, social media nut, martial arts expert, pro paint-baller, marketing consultant and a father of two. You can actually find him tweeting all over as @seandaily, @GreenTalkRadio (his green focused podcast), @GreenLivingIdea (for his site about living green), @BlueLivingIdeas (for his site about living blue - conserving water), and @martialskill (for his site where he posts his martial arts instruction videos). Sean is great guy with his fingers on the pulse of the environmental web and you are sure to find a variety of interesting tweets when you follow him.
