The entries are in for CraftStylish’s Earth Month “Crafty by Nature” contest and the judging is underway. All of them are great, but here are my favorites…

One project that I’m particularly impressed with is the Recycled Grocery Tote. It’s a reusable shopping tote made ironically from the Scourge of the Bay, disposable plastic shopping bags. While we’ve seen this project done a thousand, this one is very well done, but morer importantly it was how it was made. Lacking the correct sized crochet hook, this crafter decided to make her own instead of buying somethingnew. She made it with a repurposed wooden spoon, which could very well still be used as a spoon.
Every entry is earth friendly in some way whether they are made from reclaimed or natural materials or eco-friendly new materials. The winners will be chosen by the sponsor but you can go to Craft Stylish and show support for your favorite entry by clicking the “I Love It” button and by leaving a comment.
