Eco-friendly Form & Function - Wood Coffee Cuffs

From your wrist to your cup, the eco-friendly Coffee Cuff will keep your fingers cool, your wardrobe hot and mother nature smiling.  The Coffee Cuff is available in Bird’s Eye Maple, Black Walnut and Benge and makes for a super chic bracelet.  When you get your next cup of Joe, tell your barista that you won’t be needing the cardboard finger saving sleeve and simply slip the Cuff off your wrist and onto your cup.  I am sure mother nature would prefer you to bring your own mug, but hey everyone forgets now and again, and sometime not having your morning cup is not an option.

Mother Nature would be even more smiling if you did not waist her trees for making cupholders. You should be ashamed of yourself, selling something and misusing the flag of friendly to nature.

One wooden bracelet < 365 cardboard holders.

You should be ashamed of yourself, Jean.

  3. Herbalife says:

That’s beautiful. What happens when we forget to remove the expensive cuff from the cup? That would be uncool.

While it is very nice looking, I have to somewhat agree with Jean.

Coffee cups aren’t recyclable, and they are often made using fresh cut wood. A thoughtful environmentalist wouldn’t need such a functional bracelet….they’d bring their own cup instead.

I agree, this is not very eco-friendly, although I wouldn’t go so far as to “shame” you. You should check out some similar bracelets that are made from recycled materials. I have seen some super cool ones made out of records but I can’t remember the name for the life of me. Maybe something that doesn’t require cutting down trees will appease the “Shaminator”.

To soften the above comments, I thought I read that the wood is leftover that would be thrown away anyway. It seems like a better alternative.

  7. Herbalife says:

I have seen some other ones made out of made out of other re-cycle material but I can’t remember the name.

I make these in fabric! I always have one on my wrist, and believe it or not, so does hubby! I love the idea of recycled, reusable everyday items! Great find.
