STRiDA 5.0 Folding Bike

This bike may look a little odd, but it is a killer commuting machine with some serious hardware and serious compatibility. The STRiDA 5.0 sports a rustproof powder-coated aluminum frame, disc brakes, and a luggage rack that can hold 30 lbs. It folds up in 5 seconds for storage in a closet or so you can take it on the subway. It uses a greaseless kevlar belt instead of a conventional bike chain so you won’t get grease all over you when you carry it around, which is nice.

I think this is a ridiculous gimmick. Bikes are awesome, but this bike seems destined for failure. The problem is not fitting your bike into a small space, it’s getting out of your damn car and putting your feet on bicycle pedals instead of gas pedals.
