This awesome site from the AEE of Quebec, Canada (Agency for Energy Efficiency) lets you interact with Energuy in a virtual household. You literally drag him by the arm to find all the ways you can save in the house. Its pretty too.

Most of these are quite basic but the animation and act of searching is at least entertaining. The point is to go through the entire home and find as many places to save energy as possible. Click on the object to highlight waste areas or potential places to save. But you gotta be fast because it’s timed!

With a focus on development, the AEE’s mission is to promote energy efficiency and the development of new technologies for all forms of energy in every sector of activity, for the greater good of all citizens throughout Quebec.

The AEE site has useful tips and resources for the private citizen and business entities alike. They give updates on programs, technologies, and government services in the Quebec region to aid in reducing energy uses and improving the environment. The AEE also offers money to those with ideas or plans to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels.

In the summer of 2008, the AEE launched the Programme de démonstration des technologies vertes (Technoclimat) its green technologies demonstration program. The objective of the program is to finance projects that demonstrate innovative technologies and procedures that have strong potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Quebec.
