Log Bowls by Doha Chebib
Posted on December 9, 2008 by Doug Gunzelmann in Home+Decor
These log bowls use leftover waste wood from storm damage, landscaping, and development work. They are lined with acrylic and gloss finish and come in a myriad of colors and sizes.
Each bowl is handmade using only locally reclaimed trees of all varieties (fallen or cut down due to infrastructure, re-landscaping, droughts, or stormy weather).
The diameters of the bowls range from 2-10 inches and their heights vary by each individual bowl. The taller ones, with beautiful coarse bark intact, have a stunning appeal and would serve perfectly as center pieces or fruit bowls.
Doha Chebib is part of a three woman cooperative producing works under the Loyal Loot collective.

what a waste of space…how do you stack them. This is just another one of those products that shadow being “green” yet have a incredibly wasteful undertone.
