If you are going to be traveling a long way this Thanksgiving, consider carpooling.  Gas prices may be low, but we still need to make an effort to reduce our carbon emissions, and a great way to do that is keeping extra cars off the road.

I know my family's holiday travels can be carbon heavy.  We all go down to Connecticut on every holiday which is about a 2.5 hour drive from NH.  I only live about a half hour from my parents but I will admit that most times we take separate cars because we are usually on slightly different schedules.  This year, with a little compromise we are going carpool down with one other family member taking two cars off the road.
