Sustainable Bamboo SK8 Boards

Bamboo SK8 is a company that make their skateboard decks completely from Bamboo. Bamboo decks are stronger than traditional hardwood decks so they last longer. Plus Bamboo is a renewable material that actually enhances the environment and theirs are grown in sustainably managed forests.
These guys live and breath bamboo…
“We recycle. We limit our printing but when we do - we use recycled paper and try to use vegetable-based ink. We compost. We choose clothes that use hemp, bamboo or organic cottons when possible. We carpool. We ride our bikes or walk. We turn off the lights. We skate on bamboo. We sleep on bamboo. We drink bamboo. We pick up trash at the beach or on our hiking trails. We shun plastic bags. Bottom line is - we take responsibility for our actions. You can do the same and make a difference in the world.”

Cool stuff.
Last year I bought a long board from “Arbor Skate Boards” They make a line of bamboo decks. Great artwork on the deck too!
