We found this item on , made by Gaye Abandon, based out of Melbourne Australia. Scrap pieces of cut up sweaters (used for their other projects) were stitched together into this appealing and unique scarf. A truly beautiful form!

Using a zig zag stitch (found on any sewing machine) the sweater scraps in black, grey, blue, and brown offer a fuzzy and textured finish that could make an easy DIY winter project.

Gaye Abandon in particular crafts their wares using a no waste policy and 100% wind generated energy. They also use old sweaters to make wallets and tube arm warmers. Check them out on Etsy.
