The “Three Sixty” table by Sports Utility Furniture is a rotational table that keeps things in reach by gliding an 8mm tempered glass table top over three skateboard trucks. The table is hand made in Germany of solid wood (german oak or walnut) and oiled with non-mineral oil.
They don’t use recycled parts or reclaimed wood but I’ll be it would be a relatively simply DIY to take some used trucks and mount them on an existing table, top it off with what ever reclaimed surface you desire and then you’ll be rockin’ (spinnin’) it eco-style.
This Adirondack chair and ottoman is lazily made with a couple new skate decks and white pine. I’m not terribly impressed. First, I’ve never seen anyone sit in an Adirondack chair. It seems to me the only purpose they serve is as the subject of folksy paintings and projects for High School shop class. I would definitely like to one of our nations dejected youth spend some time in shop class and make one from ALL RECYCLED DECKS, no extra wood!
These steps were made by a student at the Roarockit Pro Deck Building School. Definitely one of the cooler uses I’ve seen, but it is definitely missing a hand rail.

More from the Roarockit peeps, this creation is called Reach for Light. The artist made this with a free hand vacuum veneer bending process. The flower petal designs are actually printed using photo’s of real tulip petals. The inside is printed griptape.
Skurniture puts together a hard maple deck and steel legs to make this simple stool design. This is a definite DIY, maybe with some kind of reclaimed legs instead of the bent steel.
This skateboard shelf is actually available at that beacon of sustainability and stalwart of counterculture Walmart (note the sarcasm). This would be easy to replicate with a reclaimed 4×4 or maybe two 2×6 boards. Cutting slats would allow you to slide the boards in cantilever style. Personally I think it would look better with the wheels, so leave em on… unless you need them for your 360 table replica.
If I missed any let me know.

Awesome. Great collection. I especially like the furniture.
great stuff, thanks for sharing. the “focused bags” (focusedbags.com) look amazing - usually it’s hard for women to find eco-friendly garb without it being terribly unfashionable…
thanks,

Cool.
Wow, great ideas all around!
Wow, those watches are just amazing. I have a backpack made out of bike tires, and I love it. This might have to be added onto my holiday list!

Nice stuff. How can I get m lamps on your site. Ck it out. And for anyone thinking of making stuff from skateboards , good luck and enjoy the process.
The floor lamps on http://www.skateboardlamps.com are made from both new and recycled skate decks. The kit lets you make you own lamp from your old decks rather than trash them. The light is awesome at night.
Hey, I tried to send a msg to you regarding a question I had relating to this post, but for some reason I can not really find out how to get ahold of you. If you can view my e-mail address, can you shoot me a msg? Thank you.
