We have the ultimate in quick, easy, unique shelter for any number of uses. The Nomad Yurt from EcoShack brings the traditional nomadic Mongolian shelter to you in a hip and eco-friendly design. Constructed of fast growing and sustainable bamboo and a nature-friendly water repellent coating on the fabric shell the Nomad Yurt is long lasting and durable. Its circular/dome shape gives sick amounts of room and the open center lets in the sun and wind.

The Yurt is a great place to chill, contemplate, kick it with pals, camp in the yard, entertain guests, dream up the next big hit in the green revolution…you name it. With and overall height of 8 ft and 40ft diameter the Nomad Yurt can accommodate up to 8-10 people seated and as many as 6 people sleeping. If you wanna get cozy I’m sure you could cram more than that in there. Personally, I see late night twister parties all summer long!

Sorry, but what on earth has this got to do with eco friendly? It’s just a big, incredibly expensive tent, that takes a lot of wood to make, and a bundle of fuel to transport from the manufacturers to the buyers. I’m getting sick and tired of people trying to hawk all sorts of junk by tagging on the ‘eco’ prefix, the vast majority of it is BS.

It is portable? Really? By whom exactly? I can’t see myself lifting that and actually moving it from place to place. Well, at least not without at least three other people helping me carry it… It is great that it is eco friendly, but it is too cumbersome. It looks very spacious and is aesthetically pleasing.
