YiAhn Bassinet is a design product from the mind of Min Kang. Originally planned for the birth of his son, Min wanted a piece of that would grow with his child. “But as babies grow, they usually outgrow their bassinet in three months. After that time, it is a useless object and is also too expensive to use for such a short period of time.” He designed a modular bassinet that could morph into toy bin, book shelf, , and table to suit the needs of his child at ages past infancy.

Called the YiAhn after the name of his son, “The bassinet was designed to meet the needs of each phase of my growing baby.” Made from Plyboo (bamboo plywood) the YiAhn comes equipped with storage, is high quality, and built to stand the test of time. The Yiahn speaks for itself…less consuming and more reusing.

Wow, I have never seen anything as versatile as this piece of furniture. Will it wash my car too! :) I think in the future more and more furniture will go this way.

Yeah its well-designed but really would you want to look at it for that long?! Its also not very appealing to children, rather bland. I say, back to the drawing board.
