Ronn Motors Company is unleashing the Scorpion hydrogen fuel speedster on the world. The Scorpion is capable of reaching over 180mph (projected to achieve over 200) and has an average fuel efficiency of 40mpg. Through the use of the onboard electrical system water is electrolyzed to produce hydrogen which is then added to the air/fuel mixture in the engine. This is a unique style hybrid that couples decreased dependency on fossil fuel with innovative HFI (hydrogen fuel injection) technology to produce a rip roarin high performance vehicle. Although gasoline is required in the HFI model, carbon production is greatly decreased and subsequently fuel efficiency is increased.

Ronn Motor Company (RMC) is using this hybrid technology in the Scorpion along with a handcrafted carbon fiber body and have chose to partner with Acura to design this power plant to propel the Scorpion.

Ronn Motor Company, Inc. is a design and manufacturing company focused on leading edge design, environmentally friendly, finely built premium automobiles, balancing stunning looks and performance with eco-responsible alternative power systems.

    Hasn’t the “brown gas” thing been dismissed already? I was under the impression it takes more energy to split hydrogen from water than you gain by burning it.

    Never-the-less, I really like the look of the car, especially the rear end. That is VERY stylish. I’d like a poster of it too!

    How about we ditch that drivetrain and slap in a heavily modified version of the new VW 2.0L 16v TDI in there. I’m sure it’ll go almost as fast but with those aerodynamics it should get well over 70mpg at standard hwy speeds.

    I’ve got a 09′ Jetta TDI on order. Test drive was amazing, no diesel clatter at all. I thought it was a gasser…. and tons of power, 50mpg. Win-win situation.

    to Peter;

    yup, it take more energy to convert water to H2, than the power of H2 can produce, however, if energy wind + solar is free ….
    why not, H2 is just a storage medium … and clean ..

    If this car expels water as its emission than it will be more of a problem than it’s intended to solve.

    “If this car expels water as its emission than it will be more of a problem than it’s intended to solve.”

    Um, what the hell kind of logic is that? Are you seriously saying that water coming out as emmisions is worse than CO2? Please explain, cause I’m still hoping that your post was meant as sarcasm…

    Yeah why don’t they just use compressed hydrogen like honda instead of splitting water. I mean hydrogen is convenient cause it is the most abundant element in the universe. Then you dont need other sources of energy other then to compress the hydrogen.
