bath and beyond

This upcycled find is yet another variation on a theme…find trash, reshape it, and sit on it. From Reddish Studio the Bath and Beyond is made from cutting an old tub in two, folding and riveting the arm rests in place, and adding some legs. This is of course half art, half concept, yet fully functional. Often our readers question the greenness of designer furniture or art that we feature. Our goal is to present new concepts and striking imagery to feed creativity in our everyday lives. So that hopefully, the next time you throw out and old tub, sink, sweater, rug, whatever you can say “Hey, maybe I can make something from this.” In Reddish Studio words you can, “make an object feel better about themselves.”

Now my question .. is this a comfortable chair or they just built it for the sake of recycling?

    Renate…

To do something, however small, to make others happier and better, is the highest ambition, the most elevating hope, which can inspire a human being….
