EcoGir Makes Euro Trash Look Good
Posted on August 25, 2008 by Doug Gunzelmann in Clothes+Accessories
Awhile back we posted about eco-friendly women’s fashion by Linda Loudemilk and our male readers were interested in men’s eco styles. Bagir, makers of EcoGir, is an Israeli based company that delivers hip eco-friendly clothing for us guys. The EcoGir recycled blazer is made from 100% post consumer waste, much of which is PET bottles. To make an entire EcoGir suit roughly 30 plastic bottles are needed. Once the plastic is reformatted into a plastic fiber it can be woven into fabric much like other synthetic textiles such as polyester or nylon. Bagir has perfected the process and offers stylish, high quality, and comfortable menswear.
