“Nature is the original punk.” Linda Loudermilk is Luxury-eco that “wasn’t inspired by some predictable sense of patchouli-smelling do-gooderism.” Incorporating fabrics such as bamboo and soya blends Loudermilk brings in-your-face style, bold images, and big talk behind the brand. Self proclaimed inventor of the Luxury-eco genre and on the cutting edge of design with a polished appeal Loudermilk has moved beyond the days of hemp tattered skirts. Using some exotic materials from sources such as sasawashi and sea cell the finished good is comparably exotic and produced by business practices and fair labor standards. It is refreshing to see a entity blast a call to green with such an edgy tone.

Linda Loudermilk clothing outfits the movement, providing the uniform for this new kind of earth warrior – an infusion of hope for an abused but resilient planet.

I’m still waiting for the time when menswear gets on board with the green movement. Women get fashion and I’m stuck with organic cotton tshirts and Tom’s shoes.

Linda Loudermilk has a mens line as well, although a little out there for my tastes!
