Free Spirit Tree Sphere

These handcrafted spheres hang amongst the trees like hives suspended by a web of 3 ropes. Each sphere can cozily sleep 4 people or 8 Ewoks. Whatever planet you are from, you may want to find another means to reconnect with nature if you are afraid of heights. Some of these hang as high as 120′ above the ground and have been know to sway, quite a bit sometimes. You can buy a fully made wood sphere for $150K, a fiberglass sphere for $45K or you can buy a kit and build it yourself. These spheres are also being used in an interesting eco-tourism project where you can invest in a number of these sphere hotel communities. More Info

These are so great! I want to live in the one in Cavallo, it’s so beautiful. Mediterranean style is definitely one of the most desirable - where’s the realtor for these places?.

I’m pretty sure the top photo is actually an art installation from New Harmony, Indiana. Unfortunately, it burned to the ground about a year or two ago. I don’t have the artist’s name, but I could get for you if you wish.
