The Honey House is a 12′ diameter earthbag dome that was built for less than $1500 out of mostly natural materials. Earthbag’s (or sandbags) are simply sacks filled with earth and stacked to form a structure. These guys didn’t actually build the house to live in, they were making a movie about a woman who lived in an earthbag house entitled “Honey’s House.” They built this one to substantiate the claims of their heroin that praise earthbag building. They not only found the claims to be true but they found a passion for these earthen buildings. More Info
Here’s a great how-to for building your own earthbag house:

These are so great! I want to live in the one in Cavallo, it’s so beautiful. Mediterranean style is definitely one of the most desirable - where’s the realtor for these places?.

I’m pretty sure the top photo is actually an art installation from New Harmony, Indiana. Unfortunately, it burned to the ground about a year or two ago. I don’t have the artist’s name, but I could get for you if you wish.

Thanks for including Falling Water. It’s nice to be reminded that being green isn’t a new idea!
