Not necessarily natural, but anytime I found ants coming in I’d plug up their entrance with some old caulking I had lying around. After a week or two of doing this I have not seen an ant since, and it’s been two years.

I have had success with the borox and sugar water method as well. I have also heard that blackstrap molasses, mixed with water and sprayed works to keep away fire ants (and its also a really good fertilizer).
