Vectrix Electric Scooter: Zero Emissions Performance Bike
With zero emissions and from zero to 50 in 6.8 seconds the Vectrix will make you the slickest and quickest scooter commuter on the byways. The Vectrix is the ultimate in performance and eco-friendly transportation. The laws of science still apply to the Vectrix however. Such practices as high speeds, hard acceleration, and increased weight decrease the Vectrix operating range. At a constant speed of 25 mph the typical range on a charge is 65 miles. On the top end of the spectrum the machine gets 20 miles per charge zipping along at 60. The NiMH battery (Nickel Metal Hydride) has a charge time of 3-5 hours when plugged into any grounded wall socket and propels the bike at a max speed of 62.

Another key feature of the Vectrix is its negligible sound production. Being able to transport yourself stealthily is relaxing and appreciated by the community (and too often ignored!). Costing about one penny per mile the Vectrix sets itself apart by its performance characteristics.
