If you're a regular reader here, you know that I am crazy about chalkboard paint. It's versatile, easy to use, and turns any surface into an opportunity to draw, write, or embellish.

Over at CRAFT, Claire Joyce-Johnson walks you through how to turn a simple fallen tree limb into a rustic, reusable place card with a little bit of crafty know-how. All you need are the tree limb, a saw, a sander, and chalkboard paint.

Do any of you guys do place cards for big holiday meals? I think they add such a classy touch!
