I gotta say, though, that I disagree with one area of thought – not heating the bathroom/heating the kitchen!!! I keep my bathroom door closed in winter to keep the heat in; and heat in the kitchen is not necessary, as it makes it’s own heat and I am active while in that room. (Plus, I’m not undressing or placing my bare butt on any cold surfaces in the kitchen!!! lol!!)
