paper tree centerpiece

I am in love with this sweet paper tree centerpiece from Two Girls Being Crafty!

They created their tree using scrapbook paper, but you could use old book pages, magazines, or junk mail to make this a recycled project. Take it a step further and use a vase from the thrift store or one you already have instead of buying new.

Wouldn't it be fun to combine those lovely paper leaves with some recycled scrap fabric flowers to create a recycled tree centerpiece for your tablescape?

It’s so cute…but how do you make it? I’m not very crafty, and can’t tell from the photo how the leaves are atached to the branches, and what ARE the branches??

    Can you help?

    Thank you!!!!

    Sandy
