Summer is in full swing, and for crafty business owners that means looking ahead to fall festival season and sorting out what shows we're applying to and how we'll display our goods there.

This citrus crate jewelry display is a perfect display piece to work on in summer, since citrus is in season and you probably have one or two of these boxes around the house. Check out this video showing you how to turn those citrus boxes into a simple, portable jewelry display. Also, check out her super adorable tuxedo cat in the background!

Green it Up

She recommends priming the boxes in the video, but it might be cool to leave the boxes as-is for a bit of interest. The printing on some citrus crates is what gives them their charm.

If you do decide to prime or paint your boxes, make sure you choose a low-VOC primer and zero VOC paint.
