Add the Button

The problem now is that your beautiful scissor holder has an unsightly line of stitching at the top. What better way to hide that flaw than with an adorable button? Stitch your button over the problem area, and voila! You're ready to stash those scissors away in style!

Confession: this is not a vintage button. They were selling packs of these gigantic buttons at the fabric store, and I couldn't resist a pack of 1" buttons in different shades of blue. I've been using them sparingly and promise to have more willpower next time I'm in the button aisle!
