No matter what I do, I seem to amass old magazines and catalogs. Sometimes, the culprit is a subscription from a well-meaning relative, but the main problem is that my husband and I both have home based businesses, and direct mail companies love sending us unsolicited materials. Luckily, there are lots of fun ways to reuse magazine and catalog pages! This simple box tutorial is a great way to showcase the colors on the different pages
As many crafters probably know, Urban Outfitters is notorious for stealing designs from indie crafters and mass producing them for sale in its shops. So, when I ran across a video walking you through how to recreate a design from Urban Outfitters, it warmed my heart a little bit. Check it:

What a great way to repurpose old magazines and junk mail into something usable and new! There's something appealing and a little bit meta about a magazine rack made out of old magazines, right? She uses an existing box, but if you don't have one handy, try rescuing a corrugated cardboard box! Package stores are a great place to find empty boxes that are a good size for reuse. You can also make this project a bit more durable by painting over the paper with Mod Podge or thinned out white glue.
