Let's face it: it's pretty easy to sort out girlie gifts. I dislike stereotypes as much as the next gal, but I have a much harder time finding gifts for guys than for my girlfriends.
If you're in the same boat, don't fret! Here are a few gifts for dudes that are handmade or that you can make yourself and that won't break the bank. Heck, some of these would work for that special lady in your life, too.

1. Recycled Book Journal
Who doesn't love a journal? Writer's Block makes lovely, recycled journals that are sure to inspire your sweetie!
2. Recycled Space Helmet Hoodie
No, really. Who wouldn't freak out for a hoodie this awesome? Score yourself some ugly sweatshirts at the thrift store, download the pattern from Threadbanger, and get crafting!
3. Screen Printed Neck Tie
Designer 20Twenty hand picks awesome, vintage neckties and screen prints them with original designs. I love this stripey one with a cassette tape on it!
4. Infused Booze
If your fella appreciates a good cocktail, you might consider creating a special infusion just for him! This works best with clear liquors like vodka, gin, or rum. Just steep the organic liquor of your choice with herbs, citrus peels, or even berries for two or three days, strain through cheese cloth a couple of times, and make a pretty label for the bottle!

5. T-Shirt Scarf
Scarves can lean toward the girlie or the manly, depending on your fabric choices. Hit the thrift store for some t-shirts in your fella's favorite colors, and whip him up a recycled t-shirt scarf! You can use just two colors, like in the video, or quilt together squares or rectangles of different colors and patterns to make something even more colorful.
Have you guys run across any good handmade Valentine's gift ideas for guys? I'd love to hear how you're keeping Valentine's day crafty and eco-friendly!
