
4. Painted Acorns
All you need for this project is a bowl of large acorns, small paint brushes, and paint. Once you've sorted out your design, get painting! If you want to add cute little ears, you can make them out of small leaves or cut them from brown paper grocery bags. Just use a dab of thick white glue (Tacky Glue works well) to secure them. You might need to hold those ears in place for a bit while the glue sets.
How cute would these look lined up on the mantle or hanging in the window? They might also make a nice adornment for a hostess gift, if you've got any holiday parties this fall.
