‘Green Police’ Super Bowl Ad Touts Clean Diesel Audi A3 TDI

After teasing the with two "Green Police" commercials in the days leading up to the Super Bowl, Audi ran a spot during the game featuring a montage of environmental infractions being busted by the "Green Police." In the Super Bowl ad, which began with a man choosing a plastic bag at the grocery store -- and wishing he hadn't -- cars were being stopped at an eco-check point except the new 'clean diesel' Audi A3 TDI, which Green Police officers waved on through.

With an EPA-rated 42 mpg on the highway — the best fuel-economy of any luxury car sold in the U.S., the A3 TDI recently won Green Car Journal's 2010 Green Car of the Year award. The clean diesel technology of the A3 TDI also reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 30%. Watch Audi's Green Police Super Bowl Commercial:

    I’m a green person who found the ad insanely funny. Especially at the end when the Green Police busted the two Police officers for drinking out of a Styrofoam cup.
