On Friday I wrote about how the Lima district of San Borja planned to light an eco-friendly Christmas Tree using LED lights, wind power, solar power, and bicycles. As promised, here are several photos of the beautiful tree.
Levi Novey is a conservation professional who has received a bachelor’s degree in History from Tufts University and a master’s degree in Conservation Social Sciences from the University of Idaho. He worked for the U.S. National Park Service for 10 years, as a park ranger, social science researcher, and science communicator for 20 different parks. In addition to having authored several guidebooks to U.S. national parks, he has written scholarly papers and over 150 online articles as an environmental journalist for websites like the Huffington Post.

Thats cool. In my neighbourhood people don’t even use LED lamps on their trees. Cause they look to cold compared to conventional lights.
